About Me

PM

I am an astrophysics student currently working with Dr. habil. Jarosław Dyks at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Toruń, Poland (CAMK-PAN) as an external student. I work on developing new models and analysis methods to understand the radiative properties of radio pulsars. e.g., how does a pulsar's polarisation state evolve within a pulse period as well as across consecutive pulses. I primarily analyze the MeerKAT and FAST single-pulse data. My goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the radiative transfer processes within the pulsar magnetosphere. Other than astrophysics, I am also making efforts to develop a solid and practical understanding of scientific philosophy which I think is the backbone of scientific method.

Recent Highlights

I developed a simple data-analysis app for pulsar polarimetry using the MeerTime Single Pulse Database. Check it here: Pulsar Polarimeter App. An updated version with more features will be launched soon at CAMK-PAN's website (CAMK's new pulsar group page).
